I am really enjoying roast dinners. I would normally rate them up there on my favourite dinners, but for some reason I really look forward to them on a Sunday now. For a quick one, we head to Toby Carvery in Frimley, which is our local carvery. I would love to know where your go to Sunday roast dinner is.
Prices vary depending on what days and times you go, during the week its only £6.49. By signing up to their mailing list, you can also be sent different offers or discount codes to use. I normally end up paying an extra £1.50 to get a king size plate whenever I go.
They have 4 meats to choose from, beef, pork, turkey or gammon. You can get vegetarian options too, or still get a roast dinner and go meat free which is also cheaper. You then pile on vegetables and potatoes. If you go for a king size you get an extra Yorkshire pudding and a sausage. Depending on the time of year depends on what veggies you get. Normally you get, peas, carrots, cabbages, onions in a gravy, cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes. You can then pour on the gravy. If you can handle it you can go back up again and get more vegetables.
The Frimley one will be closed (tonight) this Sunday 15th November from 7pm, they reopen at 8am Friday 20th November, as they are having a new floor put in. They have also now made it available to book tables online which is great if you have a big group of you. Or if you know you are going out on a Saturday night and could be hung over, and know you want a roast at lunch time. Get it all booked in so now waiting around!
